The question determines the right contact. The Davis County Sheriff's Office maintains adult county-jail custody information. The County Records Manager routes county GRAMA requests. Courts hold orders and case dispositions. Utah Department of Corrections offices address state incarceration, probation, and parole, while federal agencies control their own custody records.

Use these routes for the request at hand:
- For a released person or county release record, begin with the Davis County release search and send a focused GRAMA request to the county.
- For parole or probation status, check Parole / Probation, UDC Offender Search, and the appropriate AP&P office.
- For a same-day custody change, use Released Last 24 Hours. Davis County has no official recent-release feed, so the process relies on records and verification.
- For a scheduled state date or alert, use Inmate Release Date and VINELink Release Check.
- For a specific jail or youth facility, use the facility pages listed below and contact its actual operating agency.
- For a sentenced Utah prisoner, use UDC Offender Search or UDC records. The county roster does not cover state prison custody.
